Membership and registration fees contribute to:

Membership Structure

Membership Categories

Each category has a defined purpose within the MBIR International standards framework.

Student Member

For individuals currently undertaking recognised MBIR™ training.

Suitable for:

  • MBIR™ Foundations students
  • MBIR™ Practitioner trainees
  • Professionals progressing toward certification

Student membership does not grant practitioner certification or permission to practise as a certified MBIR™ practitioner.

Annual Fee: £45
Public Register Included

Certified MBIR™ Practitioner

For practitioners who have successfully completed MBIR™ practitioner certification requirements.

Requirements may include:

  • Approved practitioner training
  • Assessment
  • Case studies
  • Competency review
  • Ethical compliance
Annual Registration Fee: £125

Certified MBIR™ Trainer

Trainer registration recognises advanced competence, teaching capability, and stewardship of MBIR™ methodology.

Trainer registration supports quality assurance and curriculum integrity.

Annual Registration Fee: £295

Affiliate Member

For professionals interested in MBIR™ who are not certified practitioners.

Examples include:

Annual Fee: £65

Affiliate membership does not grant certification or practitioner status.

Annual Renewal

Renewal Dates

Membership and registration are renewed annually.

Renewal occurs: 12 months from the original registration date.

Renewal reminders should be sent:

  • 30 days before expiry
  • 14 days before expiry
  • On renewal due date
Registration Status

Late Renewal Policy

The late renewal policy supports continuity while preserving the integrity of active registration status.

Grace Period

MBIR International allows a 30-day grace period after expiry.

During this period:

  • Renewal remains possible
  • Directory status may show pending renewal

Late Renewal Fee

Administrative Late Fee: £25

This fee may apply when renewal is completed after the active renewal date.

Lapsed Registration

Registrations unpaid beyond 90 days may:

  • Lapse
  • Lose active status
  • Be removed from public directory
  • Require reinstatement review
Governance

Fee Review Policy

MBIR International reviews fees periodically to ensure sustainable operation and continued support for members.

Members will receive notice of fee changes before revised fees take effect.

Completion of a training course alone does not automatically grant ongoing registered status.

Certified practitioners and trainers must maintain active registration and remain compliant with MBIR International standards.
