The mentoring day is an interactive, supportive learning experience. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, clinical situations or aspects of EFT practice they would like to explore.

The all day mentoring session flew by because of Tania’s format of asking partipants to prepare four possible cases to present, with fully confidentiality and ciient protection, After she vetted the cases and made her selections, Tania invited practitioners to practitioners to present a specific case and its challenging issues to the practitioner. Tania’s input followed and then colleagues were invited to weigh in as we felt moved. Because participants selected the challenging cases and Tania organized their presentation, the day’s topics, challenges, and potential solutions, the day included a a broad range of discussion and opportunities for growth. All client challenges were treated with respect and without any of the “fixer” energies that are sometimes present when less experienced Trainers or Mentors hold the space and their mentees feel they have to demonstrate their expertise. Boundaries, self care, and identification of personal opportunities for growth were key takaways. Despite getting up at 4:30 am to join the mentoring session (because of Daylight Saving and Time Zone differences), I found the day nourishing and instructive. Uusally I spread my mentoring experiences out over the year, but because I moved from Vermont to Ontario this year, I left meeting my mentoring requirements to the last minute – something I don’t recommend. Still,in my case it worked out. Finding Taunia’s call day mentoring opportunity provided a concentrated experience in a number of best practices. Thanks Tania, and thanks fellow participants. I learned a great deal and felt safe and happy while doing so.
