Working with addiction using EFT

In 2020, nearly 3,000 people died in the UK due to the misuse of drugs. It is estimated that 2% of UK adults in the age range, 16 to 59, use drugs once a month at more.

Addictions are a massive problem around the world, one that is increasing with time. Addiction issues range from alcohol to drug abuse. Alcohol and drug issues can destroy lives.

People who suffer from alcoholism lose the ability to control the volume of alcohol they drink, likewise with drug dependency. Over time the problem can become more entrenched, ripping apart their lives and those around them.

I recently recorded a video for my EFT Unleashed Show with my colleague, Anthony Roberts. Anthony assists me with many of my EFT training courses. Anthony has extensive experience with drug dependency groups; he has even set up programs to help people recover from drug and alcohol issues. In this interview, Anthony talks about his drug recovery program. He details some of the techniques used in the programs and how EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques was a crucial element in helping recovering addicts manage their emotional state.
